Learning Without Walls
As part of the Learning Without Walls initiative, the school organized a series of purposeful educational trips for students in Grades Six and Seven. These trips aimed to connect learning with the surrounding environment, enhance students’ knowledge, and develop their exploration and teamwork skills.
Grade Six students participated in an educational trip to the Al Thakira Mangroves, where they learned about mangrove trees, their environmental characteristics, and their importance in maintaining ecological balance. They also enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery and practiced kayaking. In addition, students visited the Museum of Islamic Art Park, taking part in competitions and activities that promoted teamwork and cooperation, as well as an art workshop designed to develop their skills in drawing and color use.
Grade Seven students went on a trip to Al Zubarah Fort using four-wheel-drive vehicles to explore one of Qatar’s most important archaeological landmarks. The trip also included visits to camel racing areas, where students learned about the significance of this traditional sport and its deep connection to Qatari culture. The following day, students visited Katara Cultural Village, where they explored key sites and participated in a treasure hunt activity that fostered teamwork and collaborative skills.
These trips reflect the school’s commitment to providing rich educational experiences that contribute to students’ personal growth and skill development in a motivating learning environment.
