International Mindedness
The IB programme aims to help students develop an awareness of their identity and culture, with an understanding and acceptance of other cultures. To achieve that, teachers at AIA incorporate this concept into every unit of study they teach.AIA has made every effort to hire an international staff so that students are exposed to many different ways of looking at the world. Students at AIA explore different identities and cultures through art, music, literature, history, and, of course, language. The very fact that we are an international school requires us to keep an open mind about the world around us and to reinforce our personal values while we learn to appreciate and respect the views, values, and opinions of others.
