Work Collaboratively

One of the 21st Century skills that we teach all of our students is how to work collaboratively with their colleagues and when to work alone. The concept of flexible grouping allows students to evaluate a project and to decide whether it is better to work together of alone and to evaluate which tools are appropriate to advance the inquiry. This allows students to look at challenges analytically instead of as something that they can’t overcome. By using an analytical process for problem solving, students are able to break it down into manageable pieces.
