Elementary School

The Primary Years Programme is designed for students within the age range of 3-11 years (KG 1- Grade 5). It helps develop the child as an inquirer, who is able to better evaluate situations and initiatives on his/her own. The elementary school is comprised of a comprehensive curriculum that tackles rigorous and challenging subjects. It provides students with all the necessary elements in order to become successful at school, and well-prepared for the future and beyond the boundaries of AIA. Students are encouraged to explore and solve problems using critical thinking and questioning, which keeps their mind alert and capable of conducting constructive analysis.

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
